A brief but interesting reference from the school log book
written on 18th September 1933 is shown above. This was a time
of rapid growth and of great public interest in aviation, and
a flying display must have been particularly exciting for the
children of a rural area, since such events around this time
often included stunt flying, wing walking and similar thrills.
