"Be it remembered, that on the Ninth day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty five at Builth in the said County [Sir Frycheiniog] Mary Cooke is convicted before the undersigned, two of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County for that she, the said Mary Cooke, on the 28th day of June last at the parish of Builth in the County of Brecon did unlawfully and violently assault and beat one Jane Lloyd, the wife of John Lloyd of the said parish of Builth in the said County of Brecon, Labourer, contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided..." |  |
