  Kelly's Directory 1895: Talgarth - 5

In these entries we can see more of the tradesmen who provided the important goods and services which kept Victorian Talgarth going.
Among them we can see William Price of High Street who was a wheelwright and a grocer ! He must have been a very busy man as it was the wheelwright who made the wooden wheels for all of those horse-drawn carts, waggons and carriages which were everywhere in Victorian times.

The publishers of the directory were unused to Welsh names and so there are some unusual spellings at times! Can you recognise any of them?
Don't forget!
The surnames are first

Another very busy man was William Weale, who seems to have had several jobs at once !
