Another early view of Llanwrtyd Wells taken from a guide to mid-Wales towns is shown below. The booklet was published just after the end of the long reign of Queen Victoria.
Dating from around 1903, this photograph shows Irfon Terrace near the centre of this little town.

The houses seen here are typical of the solidly built Victorian terraces to be found in the other spa towns of Wales.
