  Census figures for Llanlleonfel parish

The actual recorded figures for the population of the parish were:-
  In the year 1841 - 189 people
In the year 1851 - 182
In the year 1861 - 188
In the year 1871 - 183
In the year 1881 - 169
In the year 1891 - 121
In the year 1901 - 94

In the early Victorian period the parish of Llanlleonfel included Gwarafog. We have recorded the figures separately to make comparison easier. Unlike neighbouring mountain parishes like Penbuallt and Llanfihangel Abergwesyn, Llanlleonfel is a small area in the Irfon valley.

Compare this graph with those of other parishes in the area.
Is the overall trend the same?
If the trend differs, in what way does it differ?
